• Who can wear the Denim Weighted Vest?

  These vests are designed for usage by both boys and girls from toddler to tween. We have 4 sizes available; check out our size guide to measure accurately for best fit.

• How is the Weighted Vest discreet?

  This product looks like a typical fashion-friendly vest, made from classic denim. There are removable weights hidden inside internal pockets and by the shoulder area that can be fastened and distributed according to individual needs.

• How does the Denim Weighted Vest help?

  Weighted clothing helps kids feel grounded, calm & regulated. Best of all, no one can tell they are wearing a “sensory” product.

• How many weights should I add to the shoulders and pockets?

  Weights should be carefully and gradually adjusted for each person's needs. The total should never exceed 15% of the total body weight. This item includes 2.5 lbs. of weights and additional weights can be bought separately.

• Is the Weighted Vest durable?

  All of our products are tested for our most active wearers. We test the seams of the fabric and adjustable weights to help ensure long-term durability.

Warning:

Use with adult guidance. Never use to cover face or restrict child’s movement. User should be able to remove weighted clothing without help. Follow the age and weight guidelines stated on the product insert. Do not allow user to sleep with weighted clothing. Use weighted products with guidance from a therapist. Weights should be carefully and gradually adjusted for each person’s needs (10% of total body weight is a common standard. The total should never exceed 10-15% of total body weight regardless of the maximum weight the vest can hold).
